Challenge 1: Create an entree with saffron

It's been a long time since our last adventures in Vancouver. A lot of things have changed. We've now graduated and have dispersed, and the House of Impy is no more. However, our love of food will never waiver.

For the Christmas holidays David is hoping to cook a lot. This is great news for me and I will do everything I can to encourage this wonderful endeavour.

For his first challenge I have chosen saffron. Our friend recently went to India and brought us back enough saffron to last us for a lifetime. We haven't cooked with it yet, so this is the perfect opportunity to showcase what it can do!
